Watch out what you buy you children
I will post more later but listen closely to what this baby says at the end. A target employ pointed this out to us tonight........ I guess they asked if they should pull this off the shelves and Fisher Price told them no...... I know I wouldn't be buying this for my daughter.

Like a kid in a candy store

This my friend is the equivalent to the ToysRUs Christmas catalog that comes out around Christmas. This is the JCPenney Cooks catalog. I love it. I sit look at all the things wishing for something from it for Christmas, which I know I probably won't recieve anything from it but like a child does with their toy catalog I dream of what a KitchenAid mixer would look like in my kitchen.... sigh..... seriously though, I love this thing. I guess we still r children in some way. There is nothing bad about that. Talking about Christmas....I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to get anybody anything for Christmas. I may have to go back to working another job, for at least Christmas, but my only availability is Saturday so I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm busy with girl scouts and stuff now. I don't know.... Any suggestions?

A Day In History

Well here it is election day. As you can tell by my nifty sticker (we don't get stickers in Oregon when we vote because it's by mail, I perfer it that way, I'll tell you why in a minute, but you do get stickers when you have to interact with others to vote). Why I would rather do vote by mail? Well.... I stood in line for TWO HOURS today to vote. Luckily I had the day off. Corey however had to use an hour of planned vacation because it took longer than we expected and now on the day we should be in North Carolina he has to go in and work for an hour before we can leave, I'm sort of annoyed but, I'm glad he could vote. In fact they had machines capable for him to be able to vote on his own without anyone knowing who he voted for. I think this is great since it is his right to vote without anybody knowing what it was for. So my vote is in, we'll see how it goes. After taking Corey to work I went grocery shopping. Yay.... It isn't one of my most favorite things since I'm the most indecisive person in the world but I did pick up some candy cane flavored oreos (as you can tell from the pictures) that are just amazing. So I will spend the rest of my day cleaning, watching my episodes of big love I got on DVD, catching up on election results, and perhaps working on girl scout stuff. Oh yeah and making lasagne for din din, I'm so domesticated now! :-)

Oh yeah, this is from Halloween night. We were sad because we had NO kids at our door and a whole lot of candy. You like our costumes we were country folk. Heh
