Que sera sera

This is me enjoying my RT 44 Diet Coke from Sonic, waiting for the time to pick up my husband and enjoy our weekend together. A weekend at home, not going anywhere, no big plans... Just staying at home.... in the place we pay rent for every month... what a concept. Wow these past two weeks have been BUSY. Well lets see where I can start from... Oh yeah, I quit my job at Verizon. I hated it. I really just could not stand working there, getting sworn at by people, in consistency in rules, no face to face interaction, I just couldn't stand it. So, I went back to BOA and begged for my job back (well I just pretty much said can I come back) and they said yes, so I'm back working there. And I am realizing how bad it really isn't. Cause trust me it could be A LOT worst, I experienced it. I like being in a place where I am valued as a person and the people around me who I work for care about me and my husband. Not saying the friends I made at Verizon didn't care but like my actual bosses care about me. My supervisor at Verizon could give a rats behind if my grandma was in the ICU or whateve. So I left my badge there last Friday and I was out. Then on Saturday we left for Savannah for the weekend. It was Corey's b-day so we went on a mini-vacation. Just FYI, the KOA in Savannah SUCKS. Spend the extra money and stay in downtown Savannah. After paying the money to drive to and from downtown plus parking, you might as well just have stayed downtown.... Anyways, besides that part... and the fact we couldn't have a fire which meant no smore's, sad, and there were these ducks that came way to close for comfort to you, I dont' like ducks. So yeah we spent a lot in downtown Savannah, mostly, going on ghost tours, walking in cymeteries and.... eating at Paula Dean restaurants. We were lucky to actually go to BOTH of them... and they were really good. Just a bit of a tip, go at lunch, you'll pay less. We also learned that in Savannah you can drink on the streets as long as it's in a plastic cup. So on the first night we went on this hearse tour, they like drive you around in an open hearse and like tell you ghost tales of Savannah. So the tour found out it was Corey's birthday and we stopped at this bar (there was another group of adults with us) and we like drove around with drinks. It was great. Needless to say people need to go to Savannah, it's beautiful and full of history and drunks! Hehe... so this week I've been back at the bank and it's great. But I'm going now. Going to finish my Diet Coke and listen to 1190 KEX from Portland. :-) Here are some pics!

This is a grave in the Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah. It's actually really cool place. Maybe I'll post some more pictures.....

We thought this sign was funny. The ironic thing... this was the only sign we saw like this and it was right by a cymetery.

This is the Mercer house, where the murder occured in the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

This is the childhood home of the author Flannery O'Connor

This is the hearse that gave us a tour Saturday night, notice the drink. heh
